Disability etiquette

People with disabilities have in common the fact that they have a disability. Apart from that, they are all individuals, each with their own particular personality traits and strategies for coping.

The degree and duration of impairment, the type of support structures available and a host of personality factors, will all influence the nature of the person's needs.
