Step 7: Questions
Examples of questions you can ask during the interview
On the company:
- When was the firm established?
- What is a current situation within the sector?
- What is the firms’ position in the market?
- What are your main markets? Competitors ?
- What is the firm’s commercial approach?
On the position:
- What will my duties entail?
- What are the main challenges of the position?
- What are the main priorities of the position?
- What are profiles of my co-workers?
- Is it a new position within the company?
- Has the person being replaced left the firm? Or did he/she get a promotion?
- Who will be my manager?
- Are successful results rewarded?
Assess the compatibility of your disability to the position offered:
- What tasks do I have to perform?
- What tools do I have to use?
- Degree of moving inside and outside the firm?
- Accessibility to a building and other places (colleagues/collaborators’
offices, toilets, restaurant, park place etc…)
- Is the position part-time or full-time ?
- Does the company offer flexitime ?
