Examples of questions you can ask during the interview

On the company:

  • When was the firm established?
  • What is a current situation within the sector?
  • What is the firms’ position in the market?
  • What are your main markets? Competitors ?
  • What is the firm’s commercial approach?

On the position:

  • What will my duties entail?
  • What are the main challenges of the position?
  • What are the main priorities of the position?
  • What are profiles of my co-workers?
  • Is it a new position within the company?
  • Has the person being replaced left the firm? Or did he/she get a promotion?
  • Who will be my manager?
  • Are successful results rewarded?

Assess the compatibility of your disability to the position offered:

  • What tasks do I have to perform?
  • What tools do I have to use?
  • Degree of moving inside and outside the firm?
  • Accessibility to a building and other places (colleagues/collaborators’ offices, toilets, restaurant, park place etc…)
  • Is the position part-time or full-time ?
  • Does the company offer flexitime ?
