Defining your employment interests and skills

In order to help you to identify your employment interests and skills, use the 'experience examples' Word document [25kb] (section 1) to list among your professional and extra-professional experiences those:

• that enabled you to acquire the most know-how
• that provided you with the most satisfaction
• that you consider particularly successful
• for which you have been recognised
• that have motivated you
• that have brought you the least satisfaction

From your professional and extra-professional experiences, identify those which enabled you to acquire the most know-how. Give precise reasons (e.g. : work practices, teamwork, training programme …). Use section 2 of the 'experience examples' Word document [25kb].

From your professional and extra-professional experiences, identify those which provided you with the most satisfaction. Give precise reasons for your satisfaction (e.g.: intellectual satisfaction, contacts, challenges, active sector, size of the firm, corporate culture…). Use section 3 of the 'experience examples' Word document [25kb].

Among your professional and extra-professional experiences, identify those which you consider particularly successful. Give precise reasons for your satisfaction. Use section 4 of the 'experience examples' Word document [25kb].

Among your professional and extra-professional experiences, identify those for which you have been particularly recognised. Give the precise reasons for recognition: For example : punctuality, quality of work done, customer feedback…. Use section 5 of the 'experience examples' Word document [25kb].

Among your professional and extra-professional experiences and interests, identify those that made you feel particularly motivated. Give precise reasons for this motivation. Use section 6 of the 'experience examples' Word document [25kb].

From your professional and extra-professional experiences and interests, identify:

1. those that you got the least personal satisfaction from
2. how you dealt with difficulties

Use section 7 of the 'experience examples' Word document [25kb].

Define and elaborate on the areas of non-satisfaction. Explain how you dealt with difficulties, what insights (positive & negative) did you gain from these experiences? Use section 8 of the 'experience examples' Word document [25kb].
